Mauritius Cabinet Decisions Explorer
**updated as at 21 Apr 2026.** Side project on the Mauritius cabinet decisions, organised by field (because I cannot keep reading pdf by pdf). There may be errors as text is extracted from each PDF of the cabinet meetings, then assigned fields based on keywords and some minor llm-classification as well. Source code for the extraction is available at this repo. It’s then easier to feed the JSON file in an LLM for summarisation or analysis but note it will miss out certain things (unless explicitly asked to look for) such as the removal of “Preliminary Environmental Report licence” in Aug 2025, and in Nov 2025 the allowed use of non-biodegradable single use cups. ...
