The question, as placed

(No. B/1123) Mr T. Apollon (Second Member for Mahebourg & Plaine Magnien) asked the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister of Finance, Minister for Rodrigues and Outer Islands whether, in regard to the taxi operators at the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, he will, for the benefit of the House, obtain from the Commissioner of Police, information as to the measures being envisaged to – (a) ensure the security thereof, especially, following the recent reported case of aggression on or about 15 November 2025, and (b) prevent any illegal taxi operation thereat and if there has been any reported case of alleged illegal transfer of taxi licence to operate thereat.
