Rookny (Third Member for Pamplemousses & Triolet) asked the Minister of Land Transport whether, in regard to the proposed strengthening of the legislative and enforcement framework to address cases of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, he will state where matters stand, indicating whether Government intends to implement the announced measures, including the immediate impounding of vehicles and the suspension of driving licences of the offenders involved therein.
