(No. B/879) Mr K. Lobine (First Member for La Caverne & Phoenix) asked the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade whether, in regard to Gaza, following recent findings and official statements from the United Nations (UN) and other international bodies confirming serious violations of international humanitarian law and acts constituting genocide committed thereat, he will state if Government will consider – (a) condemning Israel’s actions in stronger terms at the UN and elsewhere; (b) severing/suspending diplomatic relations with Israel until a verified, immediate and permanent ceasefire is observed and respected, and (c) supporting/joining international legal actions before the International Court of Justice in defence of Palestinian civilian lives and international law. 157
