Jhummun (Second Member for Rivière des Anguilles & Souillac) asked the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister of Finance, Minister for Rodrigues and Outer Islands whether, in regard to the 2 per cent Corporate Climate Responsibility levy charged on firms having a turnover of more than MUR 50 million in the global business sector, he will – 110 (a) for the benefit of the House, obtain from the Mauritius Revenue Authority, information as to the revenue generated since its introduction to date, and (b) state its impact on the global business sector, indicating the purpose thereof.
