(No. B/590) Mr F. François (Second Member for Rodrigues) asked the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister of Finance, Minister for Rodrigues and Outer Islands whether, in regard to the Accounts of the Rodrigues Regional Assembly, he will state – (a) the measures and remedial actions, if any, taken to strengthen the governance and management of public funds for budget transparency, accountability and credibility thereof, and (b) whether new guidelines have been issued for the reallocation and virement of funds, as recommended in the Fourth Report of the Public Accounts Committee of the Seventh National Assembly and, if so, give details thereof and, if not, why not.
