Aumeer (Third Member for Port-Louis South & Port-Louis Central) asked the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister of Finance, Minister for Rodrigues and Outer Islands whether, in regard to the joint UK-US military base located on Diego Garcia in the Chagos Archipelago on which the Republic of Mauritius exercises its sovereignty, he will, for the benefit of the House, obtain information as to whether same was used in the recent air strikes launched against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
