(No. B/1014) Mr R. Beechook (Second Member for Flacq & Bon Accueil) asked the Minister of Land Transport whether, in regard to the Taxi Operators Welfare Fund, he will – (a) for the benefit of the House, obtain information as to the amount of contributions collected from taxi operators as at date, indicating the total amount disbursed therefrom under each scheme and corresponding number of beneficiaries, and (b) state whether a review of the regime regarding contribution thereto is being envisaged and, if so, indicate where matters stand.
