Venkatasami (Third Member for Quartier Militaire & Moka) asked the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Protection whether, in regard to the number of vehicles equipped with Autogas kit using Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) as fuel decanted from cooking gas cylinders, he will state if consideration will be given to request local petroleum companies to equip their fuel stations with Autogas dispensers with a view to render the exercise of filling vehicles with LPG safe and, if so, when, indicating the estimated cost per kg/litre thereof and, if not, why not.
