PARLIAMENTARY SITTING’S SUSPENSION – ROAD ACCIDENT – HON.
PARLIAMENTARY SITTING’S SUSPENSION – ROAD ACCIDENT – HON. MEMBERS’ DELAY
Hon. Members, as you may probably have heard, there is a problem in Pailles, where there has been an accident. And, the hon. Leader of the Opposition phoned me. He was hoping to be able to come. I think hon. Minister Sik Yuen and hon. Ms Savabaddy, who are supposed to speak, are also there in Pailles, waiting. This is an act of God. Unfortunately, it does not seem that they will be here in time. We had to start. So, what I propose is that I suspend the Sitting until we can find out what is going on. Otherwise, it will be very complicated. So, I am going to suspend the Sitting for the moment. Act of God! At 11.37 a.m. the Sitting was suspended. On resuming at 11.47 a.m. with Madam Speaker in the Chair.
Please, be seated. Thank you, hon Members, for your understanding. C’était un cas de force majeure. Yes, hon. Leader of the Opposition!
