COMMITTEE OF SUPPLY – TIME ALLOCATION
COMMITTEE OF SUPPLY – TIME ALLOCATION
Hon. Members, before we proceed with the Committee of Supply, I have to inform the House that an indicative time allocation has been worked out and agreed upon by the Whips in regard to each Vote Item, wherever applicable. As we proceed, the time allocation will be announced, and I will exercise some flexibility wherever the need arises. We will proceed page by page for the orderly conduct of the Committee of Supply. I further wish to draw the attention of hon. Members to Standing Order 73 (3), which reads as follows – “(…) Discussions at the Committee shall be confined to the details of the Estimates and shall not refer to the general principles of Government policy and administration.” I appeal to hon. Members to be brief in their questions, and hon. Ministers to be brief in their replies. I rely on your collaboration. We will start with the consideration of Estimates of Supplementary Expenditure (2023- 2024) (No. 2) Bill of 2025.
