The question, as placed

(No. B/207) Mr R. Beechook (Second Member for Flacq & Bon Accueil) asked the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister of Finance, Minister for Rodrigues and Outer Islands whether, in regard to the fight against drugs in Constituency No. 9 Flacq and Bon Accueil, he will, for the benefit of the House, 120 obtain from the Commissioner of Police, information as to the number of searches carried out in relation thereto in the said constituency over the past ten years, indicating the – (a) amount of drugs and other illicit products seized in the course thereof and the value thereof; (b) number of arrests effected, and (c) number of convictions secured.
