Rookny (Third Member for Pamplemousses & Triolet) asked the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister of Finance, Minister for Rodrigues and Outer Islands whether, in regard to the proposed strengthening of the legislative and enforcement framework to address cases of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, he will state where matters stand, indicating whether Government intends to implement the announced measures, including the immediate impounding of the vehicles and the suspension of the driving licences of the offenders involved therein.
