Rookny (Third Member for Pamplemousses & Triolet) asked the Minister of Agro-Industry, Food Security, Blue Economy and Fisheries whether, in regard to meat for the forthcoming festive season, he will, for the benefit of the House, obtain information as to the – (a) expected availability and volume of livestock for local consumption; (b) measures being taken to ensure stable and affordable prices, and (c) whether any risk of price escalation or supply shortage have been identified.
