(No. B/610) Dr. R. Saumtally (Third Member for Montagne Blanche & GRSE) asked the Minister of Health and Wellness whether, in regard to the medical treatment undertaken by the son of Mrs A. R., in India, under the aegis of his Ministry, he will – (a) for the benefit of the House, obtain from the Overseas Treatment Unit, information as to the nature and extent of the financial and logistical assistance provided thereto, and (b) state if his Ministry is in presence of any complaints made in relation thereto and, if so, indicate the measures, if any, taken to address same.
