(No. B/313) Mr J. F. François (Second Member for Rodrigues) asked the Minister of National Infrastructure whether, in regard to the recent torrential rain and flooding that severely affected the northern region of Rodrigues Island, he will, for the benefit of the House, obtain from the Land Drainage Authority and the National Development Unit, information as to – (a) where matters stand as to the implementation of the Accacia drain works, and (b) whether consideration will be given to implement, through emergency procurement, the Port Mathurin phase 3 drain project.
