Henriette-Manan (Third Member for Rodrigues) asked the Minister of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation whether, in regard to the concerns expressed as to the adverse effects of social media on the mental health of the youth, he will state whether consideration is being given for the implementation of stricter controls, including mandatory age-verification measures, in respect of access to social media platforms for minors under the age of 16 years.
