(No. B/693) Mr K. Rookny (Third Member for Pamplemousses & Triolet) asked the Minister of Energy and Public Utilities whether, in regard to the announced 15 percent increase in electricity tariffs as from May 2026, he will, for the benefit of the House, obtain from the Central Electricity Board, information as to the – (a) additional revenue expected to be generated on a yearly basis as a result thereof, and (b) financial situation thereof as at 31 December 2024.
