Saumtally (Third Member for Montagne Blanche & GRSE) asked the Minister of Health and Wellness whether, in regard to overseas medical treatment, he will, for the benefit of the House, obtain from the Overseas Treatment Unit of his Ministry, information as to the eligibility criteria for the provision of financial and logistical assistance to patients applying therefor, indicating the mechanisms in place to ensure fairness, accountability and proper monitoring thereof.
