Rookny (Third Member for Pamplemousses & Triolet) asked the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister of Finance, Minister for Rodrigues and Outer Islands whether, in regard to the recruitment of medical and health professionals in the public sector, he will state whether consideration will be given for the setting up of a Medical and Health Services Commission along the lines of existing service commissions, with a view to strengthening governance and accountability in the said sector.
