(No. B/336) Mr R. Jhummun (Second Member for Rivière des Anguilles & Souillac) asked the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister of Finance, Minister for Rodrigues and Outer Islands whether, in regard to SBM Holdings Ltd., he will, for the benefit of the House, obtain information as to the – (a) percentage of shareholding of the Government of Mauritius therein, and (b) total amount of toxic loans written off over the period 2014 to 2024, indicating the – (i) actions taken to recoup same; (ii) names of the chairperson and head of the Credit Committee during the said period, and (iii) responsibility of the Board of Directors in relation thereto.
