(No. B/370) Mr R. Etwareea (Third Member for Grand Baie & Poudre d'Or) asked the Minister of Agro-Industry, Food Security, Blue Economy and Fisheries whether, in regard to unexploited agricultural land, he will, for the benefit of the House, obtain information as to the total extent thereof country-wide, indicating the – (a) reasons therefor, and (b) measures being envisaged to incentivise the cultivation thereof to ensure food self-sufficiency and security.
