(No. B/1073) Dr. S. Prayag (First Member for Piton & Rivière du Rempart) asked Minister of Health and Wellness whether, in regard to the increasing incidence of colorectal cancer and the importance of the early detection and prevention thereof, he will state whether consideration is being given for the introduction of a national policy for the systematic and mandatory screening thereof and, if so, indicate whether same will also be extended to asymptomatic persons falling within high-risk categories as from a prescribed age group.
