François (Second Member for Rodrigues) asked the Minister of Health and Wellness whether, in regard to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at Crève-Coeur, in Rodrigues Island, he will state whether consideration will be given, in collaboration with the Rodrigues Regional Assembly, for the upgrading of the services and status thereof to that of a Regional Hospital having regard to the demographic changes in Rodrigues Island, including an ageing population with multiple chronic illnesses and the increasing demand for complex health care services.
