Seeburn (Second Member for Vieux Grand Port & Rose Belle) asked the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister of Finance, Minister for Rodrigues and Outer Islands whether, in regard to the delay in the ratification of the Chagos Archipelago treaty signed in May 2025, he will state whether Government has assessed the financial consequences and impact thereof on our economy and, if so, indicate the mitigating measures being envisaged or taken in relation thereto.
