François (Second Member for Rodrigues) asked the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade whether, in regard to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, he will state the – (a) diplomatic measures being taken by Government to ensure the safety of Mauritian citizens and of the Mauritian diaspora thereat, and (b) efforts being made by Government towards de-escalation or cessation of hostilities and for the promotion of dialogue and diplomacy for peace and democracy thereat.
