(No. B/61) Mr R. Etwareea (Third Member for Grand Baie and Poudre d'Or) asked the Minister of Agro-Industry, Food Security, Blue Economy and Fisheries whether, in regard to potential food shortages and high prices thereof, especially, in the current times of war, global uncertainties and supply chain disruptions, he will state – (a) the measures being envisaged to mitigate the consequences thereof, and (b) whether lessons have been learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic episode for enhanced food security.
