(No. B/721) Dr. Ms R. Daureeawo (Third Member for Rivière des Anguilles & Souillac) asked the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister of Finance, Minister for Rodrigues and Outer Islands whether, in regard to the Police Officers, he will, for the benefit of the House, obtain information as to – (a) the number of mental health professionals attached thereto and (b) whether their psychological assessment is mandatory and, if so, indicate – (i) at what frequency same is carried out; (ii) the number thereof referred for psychological counselling/stress management/psychiatric treatment over the past five years and how their mental well-being is monitored, and (iii) whether same will be reviewed.
