(No. B/398) Mr R. Beechook (Second Member for Flacq & Bon Accueil) asked the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister of Finance, Minister for Rodrigues and Outer Islands whether, in regard to the proposed establishment of a Special Economic Zone at Côte d’Or, he will state the – (a) proposed incentive package for prospective promoters, developers and operators thereof; (b) estimated financial cost thereof to Government, and (c) anticipated tangible benefits for the Mauritian economy in terms of foreign direct investment and job creation.
