Etwareea (Third Member for Grand' Baie & Poudre d'Or) asked the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister of Finance, Minister for Rodrigues and Outer Islands whether, in regard to the current strategic importance of the Indian Ocean as a maritime route and as a potential source of raw materials, including of Gas Oil and Mogas, he will state the bilateral agreements entered into by the Government of Mauritius, if any, to ensure the security of the Indian Ocean and, if so, give details thereof.
