The question, as placed

(No. B/414) Dr. Ms R. Daureeawo (Third Member for Rivière des Anguilles & Souillac) asked the Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and External Communications, Minister of Finance, Minister for Rodrigues and Outer Islands whether, in regard to human trafficking, he will, for the benefit of the House, obtain from the Commissioner of Police, information as to the – (a) number of reported cases thereof over the past two years indicating the number of prosecutions initiated in connection therewith and the outcomes thereof, and (b) additional measures taken or being envisaged to combat same, indicating the mechanisms put in place for the protection of the victims thereof.
