Savabaddy (First Member for Port-Louis North & Montagne Longue) asked the Minister of Education and Human Resource whether, in regard to teachers employed in Government grant-aided private secondary schools, he will, for the benefit of the House, obtain information as to the number thereof who have been or will be declared redundant in the current academic year – (a) giving a breakdown thereof by school and by subject, and (b) indicating the reasons therefor.
