B/1097 The Honourable Third Member for Port Louis South and Port Louis Central (Dr Aumeer) To ask the Honourable Minister of Energy and Public Utilities – Whether, in regard to the demand for electricity on the national power grid, he will, for the benefit of the House, obtain information as to the projected decrease therein following the promulgation of the Energy Efficiency (Control of Non-Essential Grid-Powered Activities) Regulations 2026, indicating the (a) targets set therefor and the mechanism envisaged to monitor compliance therewith and (b) actions and/or sanctions envisaged in case of non- compliance therewith by activities falling under the ‘red category’?
