Hon. members, before we proceed with the Committee of Supply, I wish to inform the House that as has been the established practice, an indicative time allocation has been agreed upon by the Whips for the various Vote Items where applicable. I am glad to know that they were talking. For the orderly conduct of proceedings, we shall consider the Estimates page by page. I also remind hon. Members that discussions must be confined to the details of the votes under consideration, not to the general principles of government policy and administration. We have to be very clear on this. Now, we proceed with the consideration of Estimates of Supplementary Expenditure (2024-2025) (No. 2) of 2026. Vote 2-10 Prison Service (Rs31,738,000) was, on question put, agreed to. (12.18 p.m.) Vote 2-11 Deputy Prime Minister's Office (New) (Rs2,072,000) was, on question put, agreed to. (12.18 p.m.) Vote 3-1 Housing and Land Use Planning (Rs 437,562, 000) was, on question put, agreed to. (12.19 p.m.) Vote 4-2 Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science and Research (New) was called.
May I ask the Minister, with regard to Item 26313.150 – Higher Education Commission, provision made in respect of operating expenses of the Commission, including tertiary education institutions, may we have the list of the board members of each institution falling under the HEC, and these institutions for which money is being provided?
