(No. B/125) Mr K. Lobine (First Member for La Caverne & Phoenix) asked the Attorney-General whether, in regard to the use of electronic monitoring bracelets, he will state where matters stand as to the – (a) implementation thereof, indicating the reasons – (i) why the relevant provisions for electronic monitoring have not yet been proclaimed or put into operation as at to date, and (ii) for the absence of regulations defining the operational protocols and monitoring procedures, and (b) proposed timeframe for the full implementation thereof.
