A/50 The Honourable Second Member for Quartier Militaire and Moka (Dr Ms Thannoo) To ask the Honourable Minister of Environment, Solid Waste Management and Climate Change – Whether, in regard to the aquifers and ground water reserves, he will state whether a ground water protection scheme has been elaborated to examine the potential impacts of construction sites and new housing developments prior to implementation, indicating whether regarding the aquifer in Beau Songes, his Ministry is currently assessing the potential contamination thereof by sewage pits constructed in connection with new houses in the said locality and, if so, indicate the outcome thereof?
