(No. B/204) Mr R. Jhummun (Second Member for Rivière des Anguilles & Souillac) asked the Minister of Tourism whether, in regard to the lagoons in Mauritius, he will state – (a) the present status of the demarcation of swimming zones and speed limit zones, indicating the number of reported accidents or incidents having occurred thereat over the past six months, and (b) where matters stand as to the proposed maintenance, repairs and reinstatement of the said demarcation zones, giving details of any ongoing or planned works, timelines and key milestones in relation thereto.
